GARDENING TIPS
A dear friend sent a devotional thought today which contained some very good advice for growing one's spiritual garden. In light of my blog yesterday, I wanted to share part of it: Here goes (and it's not just for Squash!):
PLANT FOUR ROWS OF SQUASH:
1. Squash gossip
2. Squash indifference
3. Squash grumbling
4. Squash selfishness
Now, there's a garden we can all grow and everyone reaps the benefits! Have a lovely, sunshine-filled day!

I can't believe we found you and of all places on a blog! Dick and I were returning home this past Sat. and passed an SUV with VDM on the A&M license plate. We so hoped it would be Dora, but it wasn't. So we just googled Dora Magee and guess who's name came up. Yours! I so enjoyed reading your blog out loud for Dick. We just looked at each and smiled and quickly agreed too much time has passed without contact with all you guys. That being said, since Dick and I will be officially retired the first week of May, we must plan a trip to where ever you are for a time in the near future.
Please give our love to Bill and when you have time, catch us up on what is going on with you all.
I know you are still trying to register the fact that we are old enough to retire. Alas! We have so much to catch up on and we so look forward to that time.
Love,
Libby

Hi there! What a wonderful surprise!!! Of course, you must be kidding about retirement nearing! No way!!! But if you insist, we want to be the first stop on your first trip! What a way to bring our togetherness full circle! I will write more on a separate email! Thanks for checking in ... it will be great to get caught up. Love you guys and miss you! It's been such a long time since we huddled in that apartment over the store in Kentwood! Love you both!
